How to request deletion

You can have your dmly account and all of its data permanently deleted at any time. To make a request, do either of the following:

• Email [email protected] from the email address you signed up with, with the subject line "Delete my data"; or
• Message us from the account you want deleted via our contact page.

We only need to confirm you own the account — no forms, no hoops. Once we've verified the request, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

When you ask us to delete your data, we permanently remove:

• Your dmly account and login (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase).
• Your workspace, business information, saved automation flows, and settings.
• Any Instagram access tokens we hold on your behalf, and the connection to your Instagram account.
• Conversation logs and customer message data dmly processed for your account.
• Analytics and diagnostic records tied to your workspace.

Instagram data & disconnecting

dmly only accesses your Instagram messages and comments through Meta's official Graph API, in line with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies, and only while your account is connected and your access token is valid. When you request deletion, we immediately revoke and delete the stored access token, which stops all further access to your Instagram account and all Instagram Platform Data we hold on your behalf.

You can also cut dmly off at any time from Meta's side, without contacting us: open Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites (or your linked Facebook Business settings) and remove dmly. Doing so revokes our access token; any data we already hold is then removed on the deletion request above.

Timing

Access tokens and the live Instagram connection are removed immediately on request. All remaining stored data is deleted within 30 days. Backups that may still contain your data are rotated out on our regular backup cycle and are never restored to active use.
